A brand new venue in the Tweed hinterland of Northern New South Wales served as the inspiration for an exquisite and effortlessly styled scene.
“The key colours were drawn from the natural beauty of the surrounds,” reveals stylist Emma Sinclair of Coco & Confetti.
“A dozen different shades of green were rounded out with various tones of beige, grey and rich smoky blue. We sought to temper the botanical aspects by adding soft white and neutral tones, and accents of gold.”
Opting for stylistic elements that complemented the charm of the property, the resulting style was restrained: simple, honest, rustic and welcoming. Distressed timber, stoneware, antique iron candle holders, soft muslin napkins dyed and torn by hand were paired with the occasional luxe element, boho crystal glassware and stunning gold cutlery. The finished scene was dressed with layers of foliage, Australian native flowers and the warmth of candlelight.
Green Queen
Sprigs of greenery subtly echo the botanical centrepieces, and hand-written place cards add a touch of elegance and authenticity.
