We have had an absolutely incredible week! Yesterday we were shooting couture pink gowns, created by some of Australia’s top fashion designers. What a treat! And it was all for an amazing cause: they’ll be auctioned off in September to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Imagine winning the auction… you get a gorgeous gown and you know that your money is going towards research and the prevention of breast cancer. What a beautiful gift – both to yourself and to the world. So here’s a sneaky little peak behind-the-scenes…
Paula Hibbard from The Art of Hair perfects soft bombshell hair, while Julie Elton Makeup Artist creates dewy skin and lush lashes
We added blonde sew-in extensions to model Annie's hair for long, flowing curls
Model Annie McGinty, from Vivien's Model Management was our perfect glamazon for the day
Stylist Kimberlee Kessler and Julie Elton review the stunning jewellery from Swarovski and Autore
Makeup Artist Julie Elton created full thick luscious lashes using mascara and individual false lashes
Finding the perfect pink lipstick was a bit of a challenge, but we nailed it
Annie is resplendent in a custom made gown by Kirrily Johnston
Lisa Ho's poppy pink creation is flowing and feminine
Testing the light to get it perfect for Carla Zampatti's gorgeous oyster pink gown
A little peek at Trelise Cooper's incredible blush pink beaded fishtail gown
