Well it’s official ladies, the bar has been raised and bridal shower celebrations have never been prettier! Thanks to pinterest there are now more ways than ever to shower a beloved bride-to-be. The concepts are the same, afternoon teas, luncheons etc. but the execution is so much more than simple! Brides and their maids are putting on bridal showers styled to perfection! We came across the bridal shower below at Confetti Fair earlier this year in Sydney. The girls at Milk & Honey Photography captured it all on camera and created a gorgeous keepsake album which caught our eye. As we looked through the pages of this beautiful bridal shower we knew we wanted to share it with you.
The party was styled by the bride herself Lyn Yu from Rosebud Designs and held at Agape Organic Restaurant in Botany. This vintage theme bridal shower was complete with a delicious pink spread and our favourite thing – vintage dress ups! We love that she had the foresight to have the event professionally photographed because they really are once in a lifetime memories – just like your wedding day. Anni from Milk & Honey Photography agrees, ‘We love photographing these super pretty events because they really capture the beautiful friendship between the girls and the excitement of events to follow. We especially concentrate on portraits of the party guest, both candid and formal. Everybody looks so lovely and is so happy and it is easy to see this emotion coming through. We also concentrate on capturing all of the beautiful details that the party organisers have gone to great lengths to prepare and choose, the photographs allow these to be remembered forever and to hopefully give the feeling of being at the party even if you weren’t there!’ says Anni.
