Ramona and Toni had never done a professional photo shoot before, so when they arranged to capture the moment of their engagement with an E-Session with Evoke Photography, they didn’t really know what to expect. “With the clouds rolling in over Sydney we weren’t sure if it would be a wash out but Damien assured us that cloudy days can make for the best photos. We crossed our fingers and decided to trust him! Damien guided us through the shoot, kept it fun and light hearted, somehow captured our personalities and made the best of the amazing scenery!”
I love the sense of personality in this shoot! You can see the love, the closeness and how much fun Ramona and Toni are having together! They chose Balmoral Beach as the first location – a place that represented “Romance” to them. “We spend time down at Balmoral every week so we felt comfortable taking the shots down there. We brought some of our favourite things along, so the photos really capture who we are as a couple and represent that special moment in time just before we got married.” They chose Luna Park as their second location – a place that represented “Fun” to them. “We felt this represented what we like to do as a couple, and despite our worries about the weather, the rain held off long enough to give us the most spectacular sunset and even more spectacular photos. We ended up with a gorgeous set of photos which we are very happy with!”

They had great a great style, and a great sense of humour and were open to having a bit of fun in front of the camera which always helps make the documentary of the shoot unfold naturally and definitely encapsulates them as a couple.”
