An Earthy Urban Styled Shoot By Foreva Events

Beautiful events are created when stylists pick up on the unique subtleties of a venue. Foreva Events and Styled Events did just that in their recent styled shoot at The Urbane Group’s Euro Restaurant, Garden and Laneway Bar. They took inspiration from the dominant sleek industrial design but also used The Euro’s understated greenery to imagine the whimsical urban garden setting brought to life in this shoot.

Masculine design elements such as iron feature walls, exposed brick and clean sharp lines feature strongly in the Euro’s interior but polished timber elements and yellow window panels also add warmth to the space.

The stylists added an air of romance to the shoot by using floral arrangements in orange, red and yellow to pick up on the whimsical glow given off by the yellow panelling. Pillar candles and small tea lights were set alongside the flowers on canvas runners to create simple centrepieces.

An earthy feel was also introduced through brown paper menus set with fresh herb cuttings and place cards pegged onto the wine glasses to celebrate The Euro’s focus on sourcing fresh local ingredients.

Outside, the rustic industrial theme continued with the vertical herb garden acting as the foundation for the styling. An aisle laid with black carpet and decorated with bohemian lanterns ran through guest seating in the ceremony area. Large steel hoops entwined in vines and flowers connected lush faux vegetation walls and created a magical backdrop for the bride and grooms beautiful tufted armchairs.

The bride wore an elegant, contemporary Fiorenza dress and her hair was kept relaxed in a simple up-do with a jewelled headpiece. The groom wore a classic suit with a red bow tie, which also tied in perfectly with the overall look and feel of the shoot.

The combined styling talents of Styled Events and Foreva Events created a beautiful shoot that showcased The Euro as a chic venue in the heart of Brisbane city, perfect for a rehearsal dinner, engagement party or intimate ceremony.
