‘Something old,
something new,
something borrowed,
something blue,
and a silver sixpence in her shoe’
An old and superstitious rhyme detailing what a bride should be wearing on her wedding day. Traditionally something blue comes in the form of an accessory, more often than not a garter. But there are alternatives. From table dressings to drinks, to desserts to shoes, anything in a modern wedding can be used as your ‘something blue.’ So get creative and never be afraid to break the rules!
Here are twenty of our favourite ‘something blues’…
