Dilemma of the day Recap #1.

Dilemma Recap IntroImage2

Dilemma of the day:

“My wedding is in three weeks and my sister in law has just told me that our flower girl (her daughter) has grown too big for her dress and that she bought a new one. The problem is it is a completely different colour and style to the other flower girls and she is asking that I pay for it! I absolutely love my niece so I would never take her out of the wedding so I’ve gotten over the different dress… I just think it’s not fair to ask me to pay for the new dress which is more expensive and something I would have never picked! We paid for the first one and would have paid for the second if it was the dress we chose… Can I say no?” #mwdilemma

Dilemma of the day:

“I’d absolutely love to include our cat in our wedding ceremony. We got her in the first year of our relationship and she is almost like a baby to us. I’ve seen weddings where couples have taught their dog to walk down the aisle. I’d love to be able to teach my cat to do the same. The problem is, every time we try to train her she gets distracted and walks off halfway. Has anyone been able to train their cat to do this? Or are there any other suggestions for how we can include her in the day?” #mwdilemma

Dilemma of the day:

“My MOH & Sister in Law just asked for a divorce from my brother out of the blue… My family is very hurt and angry. What do I do now?” #mwdilemma

Question of the day:

“I just got engaged and am so excited for my wedding! My fiance and I are planning on a pretty casual affair but my mother-in-law is getting really pushy about booking things and getting everything started right away. I really appreciate the help but want to enjoy being engaged for a little while… how can I let her down lightly?”#mwquestion

Dilemma of the day:

“I’ve recently gotten engaged and I’m trying to choose who will be my maid of honour. I have three friends who would be perfect for it:

1. My high school best friend who I have sooooo much fun with, we just laugh and laugh. We try to catch up once a month, we’ve got so much history together and we always pick up where we left off. I know she’s there for me when it counts, but she’s hopeless when it comes to organising people, parties, presents etc. It’s just not the way her brain works.

2. A new friend who I have become really close to over the past two years. I met her through my fiancé, as she is married to one of his good mates. We see each other every second day, either at the gym or in social settings. We’ve become great friends but we don’t have those years of history.

3. Another lifelong friend who had me as her MOH. I get along well with her, but we’re not that close and I wasn’t expecting to be given such a big role. We don’t see a whole lot of each other anymore, but as kids we talked about being each others Maids of Honour. She’d be the best organiser ever and so thoughtful. I wouldn’t want to disappoint her.
What would you do?” #mwdilemma

Question of the day:

“I’m looking for some fun ways to entertain my wedding guests. I’d love to have some new any exciting ideas, aside from obvious the traditions. It’s for an evening wedding. Does anyone have any suggestions?” #mwquestion

Question of the day:

“I’m the MOH for my best friend’s wedding next year and we’re looking for a fun way to farewell the couple at the end of the night. We were thinking the traditional sparkler tunnel at the end of the night but wanted to know if there were any other creative ideas out there?” #MWQuestion
