S A R A H & J O R D A N
Summergrove Estate is the very definition of ‘hidden gem’ and we eagerly knew it was only a matter of time before brides would discover its beauty too. We were doubly excited when wedding and lifestyle photographer Dean Raphael shared his latest love story with us, set at the very wedding venue we so wanted to be found. Sarah and Jordan’s outdoor wedding celebration at Summergrove Estate is a vision of golden light, rolling hills and a beautifully happy couple who will bring a smile to your face too.

The Meeting…
In Brisbane on a Wednesday evening out for drinks with friends
Love…
It did not take long, although we are each others first loves, we knew quite quickly. 2 weeks in to be precise!
The Proposal…
Not long after we bought and moved into our home at Cabarita Beach we were on what I thought was a spontaneous afternoon walk up to the headland to watch the sunset. We got talking about our life together whilst watching the beautiful sky when Jordan got down on one knee and proposed. It was truly a perfect moment!
Wedding Style…
French provincial styling was our inspiration. White, fresh greenery, dusty hues of blush and pink. Romantic, classic and timeless.
Ceremony & Reception Venue…
Summergrove Estate
The Dress…
My dress was custom made by Annie at Vintage Stitches. I designed the dress and came to Annie with my ideas and she brought it to life. Silk chiffon and Chantilly lace
Bridesmaids…
Blush pink silk Audrey Hepburn inspired tea length dresses. Custom made by Annie at Vintage stitches.
Groom & Groomsmen…
The Groom wore a navy blue suit by Country Road. The groomsmen were dressed by Calibre. All shoes by Florshiem
Wedding Photography…
I had worked with Dean before and love his photographic style and the story they tell, right from the first picture to the last. We love the fact that Dean captured the magic of our day and the love we have for each other in such a natural and candid way. He is also amazing with landscape and really made the most of the scenery at the venue which was spectacular.
The Flowers…
Semi-wild, long stem, assorted pink flowers such as peonies.
Wedding Decorating…
With help from Emily at House of Harper, we decorated the venue using outdoor banquet tables with fresh greenery running down the centre and gold vases of Hydrangeas. She did an amazing job with everything and especially with the styling of our hired items from Little Gray Station.
