A chance meeting at a dinner date with friends led to a beachside engagement and modern, luxe wedding. Complete with champagne and pink roses, of course.
The Best Of Both Worlds
From the outset, Esther envisioned a day that was ‘party glam’ with a hint of tropical. The couple used pops of black, gold, hot pink and red and lashings of greenery to make this dream a reality.
Double Trouble
The bride wore two dresses on the big day, both J’Adore gowns from White Runway. Her first gown was classic white, paired with cascading blooms and she turned up the glam for the reception with a gold and black gown. From beginning to start, was a vision, “I really wanted dresses that were modern, and the reception dress had to have a ‘red carpet’ vibe to it”.
Paired with her groom in a slim fit, black velvet suit, they were the perfect pair.
Tropical Luxe
“Drinks and platters were held in The Orchard at Victoria Park then guests were moved on to the deck of the Marquee reception room which is lovely at dusk, when the city skyline lights start to sparkle in the background.”
After tying the knot, the couple invited guests to celebrate with them in luxury, tropical style. The couple went for classic white tables, paired with black charger plates and gold sequin table runners on the guest tables, and to make the bridal table stand out, chose black satin table cloths, gold charger plates and a myriad of red and pink foliage.
Tropical leaves towered above each table as centrepieces, with gold vases of pink and red flowers scattered below.
A Sweet Treat
After dancing the night away to Beyonce, guests left with personalised chocolate bars, that doubled as name place cards.
