Question of the day:
“I’ve found a gorgeous, extravagant gown but it doesn’t really suit the industrial, rustic style of our wedding. I don’t want a luxurious looking wedding, I still want to keep our theme as it is. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can up style the wedding so my dress suits?” #mwquestion
Dilemma of the day:
“My partner and I just got engaged and we’ve started talking dates. Neither of us has any preference for the time of year we get married. It’s all a bit overwhelming. We were wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the time of year/season to get married in? What are the pros and cons of the different seasons for weddings? Thanks x” #mwdilemma
Dilemma of the day:
“My fiancé and I are organising a summer wedding and are worried that it’s going to be extremely hot and uncomfortable for our guests, especially the men who will be wearing suits. The problem is, I have my heart set on an outdoor ceremony and would prefer not to have a marquee unless it’s raining. Does anyone have any suggestions for how we can keep our guests and bridal party cool?” #mwdilemma
Dilemma of the day:
“My partner and I met at a trivia night with mutual friends five years ago. We were thinking that it would be fun and fitting to have a round of trivia at our wedding. We were hoping to do it after dinner and before dessert, but our families are very much against it. They say it will be boring for the guests and eat into the speech time. I understand that nobody wants to be sitting down for too long and that speeches are also an important part, but I’m a little hurt that our idea has been received so poorly. What should I do?” #mwdilemma
Dilemma of the day:
“My partner and I are getting married next year in a beach ceremony where I will be going barefoot as I can’t find any suitable wedges that I wouldn’t break my neck in. We are having a reception back home where I’d prefer to wear heels.
I’m stuck for what to do with the hem of my dress, do I hem it to my heels and it be too long for the beach or hem it to barefoot and it be too short for the reception? Is there anything else I could do such as a temporary hem or bridal petticoat to shorten it just enough to get through the ceremony? Any other brides with a similar dilemma already been married or have their wedding coming up that have a solution? Thanks! X” #mwdilemma
Dilemma of the day:
“Our son has been asked to be a page boy for the wedding of good friends of ours. The problem is, he’s going through the terrible twos and I’m worried he’ll explode mid-ceremony. Any advice?” #mwdilemma
