A wedding is a time for many things, and a time for gifts is one of them! Gifts to say ‘thank you’, gifts that say ‘I love you’ and gifts that sigh ‘we made it!’. Wrap your gifts in style with these DIY wedding wrapping ideas.
‘Thank You’
Punch a scalloped edged circle from 250gsm card stock. Stamp your message on to the circle. In the sample shown, the stamp has been enhanced with an embossed finish. For this option, you will need embossing powder and a heat gun. Glue the circle to a square of Kraft paper, then onto a slightly larger piece of card stock. Attach to your gift.
Neon Blossom Sprig
Download the Blossom sprig template. Trace onto the wrong side of 250gsm card stock. Cut out using small craft scissors and a craft knife for the more intricate corners. Attach to your gift with a name tag.
Conversation Cloud
Download a free online vector image of a cloud. Trace onto pink fluoro 250gsm card stock and cut out. Print or write your message on the cloud. Increase the size of the template by 10-20% and cut out another cloud from yellow fluoro card stock. Glue the two clouds together with craft glue and attach to your favour gift.
‘I Love You’
Type and print the text for your card – the font used in the sample shown is ‘Little Bird’. Score the centre of the card with a bone folder and fold in half. Draw and cut some hearts from 250gsm fluoro card stock and glue in place with sticky dots.
Enjoy the gift of giving (and wrapping!)
