I still remember when we got that shot, we all gathered round to view it on the little screen of the camera and collectively let out a huge sigh at how amazing it was. Well we have a little treat for you today – Elizabeth de Varga has sent us footage from their Exclusive Fashions 2013 New Season Launch Parade which featured gowns from their Couture Collection, Studio Collection and Classic Collection. What inspired this collection?
Inspiration was drawn from soft feminine fabrics. All things pretty and of course hand detail. The desires of clients are always an influence on the collection. Inspiration grew organically. Original concepts led to new ideas, increased creativity and styles flowed.
What are the key aesthetics?
The natural warm, soft and rich colour palette of the fabrics creating a look that is feminine and pretty. Soft silhouettes, contrasting texture and colours and Swarovski elements as details which enhance romantic styling.
What fabrics and embellishments have you used?
Silk, silk, silk and of course lace!! Always high quality fabrics natural or man made fibres. French Chantilly lace, hand beading, ribbon detailing and splashes of crochet adorn the collection. Detail and texture was key.
What kind of bride do you think this collection would suit?
Our collection suits the discerning bride who loves quality and fashion. Stylish and yet distinctive. We specialize in unique individual creations, molded to match a bride’s personality.
