Happy Friday Modern Wedding Brides!! We are still buzzing from the royal wedding… and I am really enjoying watching the effect it has had on wedding fashion and style. Replica wedding cakes, gowns and beautiful princess and lace themes are reigning supreme at the moment.
So it’s no wonder that I am delighted to share this beautiful gown by Impressions Bridal, which is almost identical to Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s second Sarah Burton designed Alexander McQueen gown! And (believe it or not) it was actually released prior to the royal wedding – in January this year. While many replicas of Catherine’s now iconic wedding gown have been made, fewer have focused on the sleek and chic ballgown that she wore to celebrations later in the day and that evening.

The gown, a DaVinci Bridal gown by Impressions Bridal, was released prior to the royal wedding
The gown, style 50013 was part of Impression Bridal’s Fall 2011 collection, released to the public in January.
The full ball gown skirt and intricate silver and bead detailing around the waist are remeniscent of the future queen’s reception gown.
The stunning strapless dress with a full pleated satin ballgown is available in both white and ivory. For more information or to find a stockist near you contact the team at Impression Bridal www.impressionbridal.com.au or phone them on (03) 9642 0675.
