Recently I had the enormous pleasure of visiting the stunning city of Singapore for a few days. I hadn’t been for many years – I have always loved this vibrant city but the Singapore of today absolutely blew me away! I was honoured to be a guest at the most fabulous hotel called Oasia Hotel Novena – very aptly named because it is indeed an oasis in this bustling metropolis.
The hotel is perfectly located off Orchard Road in the charming Novena enclave. It has a direct underpass access to the MRT station and is only 2 train stations away from the Orchard shopping belt. 10 out of 10 for location.
Oasia Hotel Novena would be the ideal hotel to stay at for your honeymoon or indeed would make an incredibly unique wedding destination. How amazing would it be to get married in the city of Singapore and celebrate with all your friends and family! You can hold your wedding ceremony or solemnisation by the glamorous pools on the 8th and 22nd floors, overlooking the city skyline or you could choose a lavish banquet dinner.
Oasia Hotel Novena really gives you fabulous value for money! We had access to the Club Lounge with a private swimming pool on the 22nd floor and complimentary cocktails and canapes each evening, as well as a sensational breakfast in the lounge each morning. In fact, the hotel was selected by Travel Channel for ‘World’s Best-Value Club Lounges’.
The most overwhelming impression I have been left with from my time at the Oasia Hotel Novena is the unbelievably stupendous service and attention I received from every single staff member. They all knew my name (from the front desk to housekeeping) and went out of their way to help me in whatever way possible. I have stayed in world class 5 star hotels all over the globe yet I can honestly say I have never experienced service quite like this…and all with a genuine warmth and caring attitude. I can imagine that a wedding or honeymoon here would be phenomenal!
The hotel is designed by award-winning Japanese interior designer, Takashi Sugimoto of Super Potato, so everywhere you look is a work of art. Awesome backdrops for your photos!
