I’m really excited to be sharing with you some fabulous hairstyles, simply because I know from all your feedback that this is something you are really craving!
The hair style you choose for your wedding day is extremely important, it is after all the accessory to the main event… the dress (oh and you and your partner of course!)
There are a few little questions you need to quiz yourself about before deciding on how you will have your locks styled on the day. Firstly, what does your gown look like? Is it slinky and minimalist or have you gone for a full ball gown? A sleek, pulled back hair-style will make your beautiful head too insignificant if the gown you are wearing is the kind that takes up the entire width of the aisle. And vice versa – you don’t want your head to outweigh your slinky outfit.
What type of hair have you got? Thick or fine, curly or straight? You may be up against some restrictions with the style you are after. Don’t lose hope though, talk to your hairdresser because there are some amazing products that will make your hair do as it is told!
Is your hair healthy? You need to start now! Start eating your way to shiny hair. No style will look fab if your hair is dull and split. Eat plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish and of course lots and lots of water. (I’m pretty sure I had the same rant in yesterday’s blog!)

As soon as you’ve chosen your hair style, book a practice run your hairstylist. This should be done at least a month before the big day, then you will have ample time to make any changes you want. Now, if you are not happy with your hairstyle on trial day – tell your hairdresser! Don’t assume that on the day it will be tighter, the curls will stay in longer or it will be smoother… the morning of your wedding will be mayhem at best, so don’t expect your stylists to make any changes then.
