We had our first date at Southbank where the conversation flowed and the chemistry was amazing. Best date both of us have been on.

There was the most amazing unspoken chemistry between us. Something neither of us had felt before it’s hard to describe. We were so similar in almost every way possible.

We got engaged in Montville by the beautiful lake there.

Light Space in the Fortitude Valley.

My Wedding gown was full length fish tail. Really fitted, Full sleeve and backless. I went dress shopping at all the Bridal shops in Brisbane and just couldn’t seem to find anything that was ‘WOW’ for me. I just knew as soon as I saw the dress that was it. I googled and googled and googled until I came across this amazing designer from Sydney, Amy Taylor. Her style is chic, unique and exactly what I was looking for. I sent them my measurements and had the dress made and sent to me within 3 weeks. Fit to perfection!

I had seen gorgeous photos of bridal parties where the bridesmaids wore short white dresses which looks stunning. I was after that look but couldn’t find any short white dresses anywhere! We ended up finding the girls dresses on ASOS one week before the wedding.

The boys fitted themselves out at Topman.

We were after rustic looking soft gorgeous romantic flowers. Geraldine of Bouquet Boutique nailed it! They were perfect.

We left it in the very capable hands of Danielle from white+white weddings and events. She knew exactly what our vision was and made it come to life.

Entrance

Pre Drinks & Cocktail Reception
– Wine barrels and a vintage school desk for a Wishing Well

– Tea lights in glass baubles and flower head hanging from the windows
– Exposed bulbs on the roof of cocktail bar area
– Soft pastel coloured cushions placed on couches and seating
– Indoor trees and greenery  with up-lights

Tables
– Pinks/creams/green foliage placed in gold mercury vessels on tablesDessert table
– Wooden table under window pane with florals, housing one tier cake and colourful cupcakes
– Pink sequin cloth over wooden crates

It was laid back cocktail reception. Endless delicious canapés supplied by Vanilla Pod where the service and professionalism was second to none.

– Persian goats fetta & onion marmalade tartlets (vege)
-Corn fritters with crème fraiche & chives (Gluten Free)

-Dukkah encrusted lamb meatballs with tzatziki (GF)
-Petite creamy chicken pies
-Mini beef sliders with sweet chill jam

-white chocolate & raspberry tart

-chocolate caramel slice
-raspberry crumble slice

We made these beautiful special chocolate caramello balls. It’s a family recipe which everyone loves. To die for! We wrapped them in gold glitter bags and tied it with a gold ribbon. Made with love.

We went to The Greek Islands (Mykonos, Paros, Santorini) and Italy (Rome, Positano and Capri)
