The buzz is dying down after the glorious wedding of William and Kate, but one aspect is still on the lips of all our designers and throughout the wedding world… the dress, the lace, the beauty.
I wanted to share with you a theme inspired by the beautiful royal wedding. This Lace Theme is about the fusion of a fine and regal concept with a feminine, vintage quality. The idea is to not over-do the lace, but complement it with gold, royal, and elegantly feminine features.
I’m sure we will see this theme being used by many couples the world around, which is not a bad thing. Each individual couple will instinctively imprint their own distinctive style on the theme – and I am looking forward to the day the real life wedding shots start rolling in!

Have you been inspired by the regality and tradition of Will and Kate’s marriage? Has it inspired your wedding or are you going to steer clear of it?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
