Starting with a airy colour palette of Dove grey with white, natural timber and foliage green accents, stylist Mikaela from Three Stone Gold Weddings and Events rejoiced in the atmosphere of country living. “It’s all about overflowing gardens, light-filled spaces and wooden farm tables.” Utilising mismatched timber furniture and flowing grey table runners, they kept the place settings uncomplicated: using natural linen, simple flatware and a bouquet garni to enforce the feeling that everything was naturally gathered and simply placed. Fresh blooms accent the simple, charming setting: a mix of succulents, dusty miller, carnations and chrysanthemums. The softly toned, romantic arrangements are full of unique textures and tones, with a ‘just gathered’ style that epitomises the ideal of this setting: the beauty of simplicity.
