Sunlight streamed down on the beautiful outdoor wedding of Casey and Jared. And you couldn’t get more Australian than vows exchanged on a white-sand beach and good times had in the middle of the bush.

How we met…
We met through friends; well, actually he was one of my older brother’s friends.
We knew it was love…
We just clicked straight away – it didn’t take long for us to know that it was love.
Our engagement…
We got engaged on the balcony of a small B&B in the Dandenong Ranges at sunset, overlooking the ranges and the city.
Our dream wedding…
We always wanted a relaxed, fun, beachy, barefoot-in-the-sand kind of wedding. Pop-Up With Style helped us create exactly this and so much more. The theme was beachy boheme – lots of white, lace, macramé, wood and greenery with splashes of colour.
Ceremony: The Pines at Shoreham Beach
Reception: A Pop-up with Style private property venue in Balnarring.
Pre-wedding celebrations…
A garden party for my hens and a bucks party for Jared.
The bridal party…
We had three bridesmaids and three groomsmen. They were made up of our besties, brothers and a sister-in-law. The bridesmaids wore high-neck, pale pink maxi dresses and the groomsmen wore vibrant navy blue suit pants, white shirts and navy ties.
The groom…
Wore a vibrant navy blue suit, white shirt and a white bow tie.
The gown…
My wedding gown was from Miss Gowns in Berwick. It was a low back, lace dress with embellishments and beading on the top.
The bouquets…
Beachy boheme: a soft palette with splashes brighter pinks.
Reception styling…
Pop-Up With Style designed and decorated our wedding with elements of some DIY projects we had created, such as a photo booth, some painted signs and succulent bombonniere. Our venue was a very backyard/Australian bush-farm kind of venue, but we wanted to tie elements of our ceremony on the beach into the venue. Pop-Up With Style used a lot of wood, lace, macramé, potted plants, shells, hanging plants, succulents and little pops of pink and orange where they could to brighten it up and match in with our bouquets. We wanted lots of lights and Pop-Up With Style helped us to create a warm atmosphere in our outdoor area by hanging festoons and fairy lights in different areas.
Our photographer…
We chose Rachael Muller Photography because all of her photos were so beautiful and natural. Rachael capture all of the ‘moments’ without us even realising she was there. She really captured us celebrating and enjoying our day, the gorgeous scenery and all of the beautiful setup by Pop-up With Style.
The reception menu…
An amazing table spread created by Pop-Up with Style and then roaming finger food from Blue Diamond Catering. Oysters, arrancini balls, sliders, fish and chips, sushi, satay chicken, quiche, prawns and some yummy deserts.
The bombonniere…
Succulents in small pots to take home and ‘watch the love grow’.
Memorable moments…
Saying ‘I DO’ of course…. But also, watching some of our guests ripping up the dance floor (plenty of ‘the worm’) and a couple of the girls taking over the band’s microphones and instruments (terribly).
