G E O R G I A & J O S H
This teenage love affair lead to a magical Santorini wedding that will well and truly take your breath away.
Young love…
This love story blossomed during the couple’s high school years and the pair have been inseparable ever since. “We met at the same school in Sydney when I was in Year 10 and Josh was in Year 12. I love that our wedding anniversary next year will also be 10 years of our relationship”, reveals Georgia.
On a holiday in Mexico as the sun was setting on a dreamy Cabo San Lucas beach, Josh decided to ask his childhood sweetheart to be his forever. “My husband planned an incredible surprise private dinner on the beach of our resort, complete with a fire and beautiful dining experience. Although I was (somewhat) expecting it, it was so surreal and emotional during the proposal”, she says.
Modern simplicity…
Georgia & Josh always envisioned a simple and modern celebration, “in terms of styling we always wanted something modern and timeless with candles and lights everywhere during dinner, while we admired the beautiful sunset over Santorini”.
To keep to this simple theme, the couple kept styling elements to a minimum and let the spectacular scenery speak for itself. They coupled this with soft neutral blooms and white accents. “Our flowers all matched the venue set up, we used seasonal flowers with shades of white and pink to create a soft bouquet arrangement” , says the bride.
The couple chose the talented duo, Lost in Love Photography to capture their special day knowing that their style of photography would suit their dream wedding to a T.
“We chose Lost in Love Photography and found them very early on in our planning stages. We were so happy with Lost in Love from day one and loved their dreamy photography style. It was perfect for the style of our wedding” – Georgia
Pallas Couture Perfection…
With such a breathtaking location the dress had to match, right? The bride shone in custom made Pallas Couture. Complete with embroidery, a low back, detachable train and divine detailing from head to toe it did not dissapoint. “Pallas Couture created the most beautiful gown that I could ever have dreamt of”, says Georgia.
Live in the moment…
On the engagement, the couple say to, “live in and enjoy the moment. Go by your own timing… we were engaged for 3 years and loved every minute”.
For the wedding day, its simple, “the hard work is all done, now is the time to let go. Sit back and have the best night of your life. The night flies by.”
