Shaun and Theresa began their journey together on Australia Day 2009, before Shaun made it official with a proposal on Mount Cook in New Zealand.  They planned a beautifully relaxed wedding on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, with a ceremony at Cerretti Chapel in Manly, followed by a reception at Dunes Restaurant in Palm Beach. Theresa wore a strapless, lace Maria Chiodo gown, while the groom and groomsmen donned chinos, bow tie and suspenders to add to the relaxed vibe. White House Flowers created unstructured bouquets featuring pretty pink and white flowers with abundant foliage. Theresa later exchanged her floor length veil for a flower crown in full bloom.

The couple chose David Campbell Imagery to record their day. ‘We used David as we loved his style of photos and felt very comfortable around him. David and his assistant Dane captured our special day in all its essence. We were blown away with the Quality of the photos and David’s professionalism. We could not be happier with the outcome,’ says Theresa.

The reception styling was distinctly rustic with hessian table runners and  lots of fresh florals. ELK Styling put together a dessert table with personalised T and S cookies, mini cupcakes with toppers saying ‘I do’ and ‘Me too’, chocolate brownies and a range of lollies. “My amazing friend Michelle made our beautiful cake with top tier white chocolate mud and bottom tier red velvet,” says Theresa.

Wedding Songs: “I walked down the aisle to Hear The Noise That Moves So Soft and Slow by James Vincent McMorrow and our first dance was to The Wedding Song by Angus and Julia Stone.”
