South Australian inspiration

Modern Wedding Posted: November 7, 2011

Merry Monday Modettes!

What a fabulous weekend we have just had and now it’s time to dive into yet another week of beautiful bridal inspiration! To kick it off I want to share with you a beautiful wedding the fabulous Lia Healy captured. Tanya and Trinity’s married life began at the Old Gum Tree, Glenelg in March this year. This beautiful shoot is on the South Australian shores… enjoy.

After you admire this gorgeous wedding – please see below details of the special project this photographer is working on, to help out a beautiful little girl who is doing it tough.

Waterside weddingA big thanks to Tanya and Trinity for sharing their wedding with us. Congratulations guys!

The special project this talented South Australian photographer is taking on:

Lia Healy Photography together with Sayso Weddings are raising money for a little girl called Ella, who is having a rough start to life. From Lia’s Blog, written about Ella’s Story:

“What struck me the most was not the big things, but the smallest things that you take for granted.  In a recent post on Ella’s page, her mum wrote how Ella had loved going riding at RDA, but being warm, she was thirsty. Ella is not allowed any liquids by mouth.  And that just stopped me in my tracks… to be thirsty and not be able to drink. :(

The other thing that played on me was the fact that Ella can’t easily use the cubby house that was the girls’ Christmas present, as it still needs some modifications. COME ONNNNN… to a kid…that SUCKS!

So.  We are doing something about it.  Myself,SAYSO WEDDINGS and The Landscaping Ideas and Design Centre are making sure that these little girls get the coolest, most girly…I can’t say too much… but a very cool backyard in time for Summer.  ‘Cos every kid deserves to be able to play outside!”

Lia is offering a big reduction on her wedding packages to raise money for Ella’s cause and Sayso Weddings will match it.
“For now, until February next year, I am offering my Wedding Package which is normally $2900.00, for $2011, for weddings held between now and February 2012. ” If you have a closer date, get in contact with her anyway… you may just twist her arm. All the details are on Lia’s Blog.

I hope our Adelaide brides can jump on board and help out, meanwhile get some amazing wedding shots like Tanya and Trinity’s above!
