A Modern Monochromatic Meets Floral Weddings Styled Shoot

Modern Wedding Posted: March 7, 2017

A minimalist monochromatic palette meets the beauty of wild sprawling flowers to create a look that is modern magic!

The magic of pristine whites and wintery hues with silver accents. Blanc is painterly and sculptural. In a palette of mostly pales, there’s a result of raw sophistication at play. The focus was on layering shades the palest of grey with the purest of white and delicate blooms.

Mixing marbled stationery and unexpected glassware, along with glass vessels, some housing sculptural blooms, there was a focus on organic, hand forged materials too. We wanted to create a textured dreamscape with semi-transparent layers of fine-spun linen, clear cut glass and white-washed surfaces, raw wooden tables and laid with antique silver.

Developing a mood that is layered, monochrome, sparse, sensory and textured. ‘Entangle Living Art’ has a vacuous, light filled space within the mezzanine and is strung with sculptural lighting and monochrome tints. It merges with an artistic effortlessness, with an appreciation for all things aesthetic. Textures were very important in the planning of this shoot, as was the sensory layering of elements on the tables.

Striking architectural style gowns in simple fabric give this shoot a high-fashion feel and provide a beautiful contrast to the soft flowers, silks and ribbons used throughout.

This gorgeous shoot makes a serious cake for a pared back palette. An intriguing mix of textures, shapes and stunning flowers keeps the look far from boring. For more gorgeous wedding inspiration check out Peppermint Photography.
