The Meeting…
We met at a beer garden. He was talking out loud and making a joke. I overheard and was being cheeky by answering him. We knew it was love after our first date was over (which went for over 10 hours!!!)
The Proposal…
Nick proposed on the staircase at my house while no one was at home. He got down on one knee. We were meant to be going to the Royal Melbourne Show and I was asking a lot of questions and had a few suspicions so he did it right then and there at home before we went anywhere. (We didn’t end up going to the show)
Wedding Theme…
I wanted a white winter wonderland! I wanted a silver and white wedding and I got exactly that.

The Dress…
My wedding lace had French lace and silk tulle. Bernadette Pimenta made it for me. My inspiration was something traditional, something with a winter look, something classic.
The Flowers…
I trusted my best friend Natasha at floralique to make them. She asked me what I wanted and I just said roses and she worked her magic!
Decorations…
Diane of Paper & Style Co. styled the event, setting up a gorgeous white and silver dessert buffet that was a huge hit! Diane was there to replenish the endless supply of lollies and gourmet chocolates, salted caramel cake pops and macarons were eaten in an instant! This was all set up on the most beautiful Silver Sequined Fabric that draped gorgeously onto the floor. Diane designed and made large paper gems that were suspended above the buffet and had pretty baby’s breath spilling out the tops. Smaller paper gems were scattered over the table. The guests tables were adorned with beautiful French Chalis Goblets that sat on top of a stack of white hard cover books.
On the Menu…
We had a sit down meal. The evening started with canapés in the foyer. Once the guests were seated they had their own antipasto plate. Followed by lamb shank rotating with calamari salad for entrée. A fresh prawn platter per table was also served here. Main was steak rotating with chicken saltimbocca. Dessert was sticky date pudding rotating with strawberry crepes. To finish we had a fruit platter per table. Lots of food!!

Honeymoon…
We went to Daylesford for a few days to get away and hoping to see Europe next year!
