Your Bride Tribe’s Big Day Out: Love the Wedding Festival

Modern Wedding Posted: September 4, 2017

The fresh new bridal showcase Love: The Wedding Festival is the perfect day out for the boho-bride and her tribe.

A day of live bands, gourmet food vans, flower crown workshops and bubbly, sounds more like a fun open-air festival experience than a crowded bridal expo. Love: The Wedding Festival is a bridal expo with a difference!

Love: The Wedding Festival will be hosted at Hope Estate Winery, Polkobin in the Hunter Valley on Sunday the 17th of September – along with other events throughout the year in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and more.

More like a festival than an expo, it’s the perfect place to get inspired for your wedding day in a relaxed space. The day features 100 wedding exhibitors, champagne and wine bar, bridal fashion shows and even a Man Cave – to ditch the tired and whining fiancé.

“I wanted to step away from the traditional boring expo,” says organiser Kim Alfeldi. “When brides are shopping for their wedding day, it’s really about the experience.”

Rather than a dull expo, the organisers of Love: The Wedding Festival make a point of thinking outside of the box when creating each wedding festival. “For example, no other wedding event has ever helicoptered in the boys from the Bachelorette to speed date all the single bridesmaids at Love: The Wedding Festival,” says Kim. The Man Cave provides a safe haven for the men to escape to. A place where they can watch sport and drink beer while still earning brownie points for being involved in the planning process.

The time and thought that goes into creating this fun wedding festival means you’ll want to stay longer and experience more; giving you the time to really get to know all of the vendors, which is important when making big decisions. Kim says, “Brides want to get to know someone who is working on the biggest day of their life. This is the most fun you can have while planning a wedding.”
