Where are the Orange Ex-Service’s Club venues?
The Orange Ex-Services’ Main Club and The Greenhouse of Orange are both conveniently located in central Orange, with the fabulous Mercure Orange just metres away! Just five minutes up the road will take you to The Country Club, a space spanning 150 acres and housing an 18-hole golf course. Here is where you can host a magical marquee wedding in Spring, Summer or Autumn seasons. This gorgeous landscape holds an elegant connection with nature and houses a beautifully maintained outdoor area.
What Kind Of Venues Are They?
The Orange Ex-Services’ Main Club
The Orange Ex-Services’ Main Club offers a fabulously large space in the Coral Sea Auditorium. Complete with a full size bar and epic dance floor, this space can fit up to 284 guests. If you choose to open up to the Tobruk Room, you can increase the guest space to 384 seated and 400 cocktail-style. This space is available for full day or evening hire.
The Greenhouse Of Orange
Having opened in 2017, The Greenhouse of Orange is an open rooftop sanctuary with a customised Private Functions Room. This is the perfect location to host both your ceremony and reception. This unique and modern room comes with a private courtyard and bar for your guests to enjoy. This area can hold up to 120 guests or 150 guests for a cocktail event.
The Country Club
The Country Club marquee area is available from October through to March. The club features spectacular views of the 18-hole golf course, which can be hired for the ceremony, reception and photos. Seating up to 100 guests or 150 cocktail-style, the marquee is a blank canvas that you can make your own. Bar service is also available.
What about the food?
Each of these venues can be catered for by the experienced team of chefs with a variety of menu styles available. This includes alternate serve, cocktail or special degustation dinners. The team will accomodate any special requests or requirements and has an extensive beverage selection which can be matched to your meal selections.
Is there accommodation?
The 4.5 star Mercure Orange -Templers Mill hotel is included in the Orange Ex-Services’ Club complex, offering the full package to visiting or staycation guests. Visitors have full access to room service, the pool and leisure centre, buffer breakfast and venues. All located in the one central block in the Orange CBD, guests do not have to go far to experience the atmosphere and beauty of Orange too.
Are there special wedding packages available?
There are several options for wedding packages, including exclusive room hire, 2-5 course meals, canapés, cocktail parties and beverage packages. There are plenty of optional extras to add which will give even more style to the big day. This includes a remote bar or vintage ice-cream cart with fresh in-house made donuts and ice-cream. Also available are in-house styling options that the events team can design and setup for you on the morning of your wedding. The dedicated events coordinators are available to assist you with picking just the right details for your special day.
