Hair – A woman’s crowning glory and certainly a bride’s best accessory. I know that deciding on the perfect hairstyle that is both flattering AND comfortable is easier said than done. So, all you Modern Wedding Bride’s out there I’m going to let you in on a wedding look that I’m absolutely loooooving (because I know we can never get enough of beauty tips) … braids! I’m OBSESSED with braids at the moment. I recently went to a wedding myself where I was tossing up whether to wear my hair up, as I have quite long hair I usually wear it out. I made the decision, however to go with an up-do with braids both in the front pulling my hair away from my face and in the back, which added some detail. (I loved it so much I couldn’t bear to take it out; I wore it that way for days afterwards).
This look just oozes bridal elegance; a classic up-do with braids either in the front or the back, or weaved all the way through. That’s the great thing; you can wear this look so many different ways. Add a bright red lip for some drama and I’m swooning! You’ll feel like a modern day pin-up. Just remember to ask your make-up artist to help you find the right shade of red for your skin tone. So sit back and get inspired with some of these luxurious styles.
