Green is often limited to the celebration of Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day. It’s hardly ever in the running when it comes to a wedding celebration, usually beaten by varying shades of pink, purple and blue. But I think it’s time we stopped overlooking green. I’ve seen a number of weddings lately where brides have embraced the colour green to give their wedding a natural, organic look. Lush green leaves and sprawling lawns remind us of fresh summer days and promote a sense of harmony and health.
I have definitely been a pink girl all my life, but the freshness and the vibrancy of this inspiration board has left my beloved pink a little by the wayside!
Hint: Think about creme or coral bridesmaids dresses to mirror the way a flower compliments foliage. Include foliage in the bouquets to give a green ‘pop’ of colour.
