Moroccan Love Outdoor Wedding Styled shoot

Modern Wedding Posted: February 8, 2017

Set on the grounds of a macadamia farm, this Moroccan-inspired shoot celebrated colour, sequins, layered textiles and Eastern-inspired cuisine.

Lovebird Weddings created four unique spaces on the farm; a pontoon ceremony, garden party setting, newlyweds chill-out zone and an intimate reception for this stunning shoot originally seen in the latest Wedding Styling Handbook. There were so many stunning details, all of which unfortunately couldn’t fit into the magazine, so we’ve shared them all here! Get your pinboard set, you’re going to want to hang on to these stunning ideas!

The lake pontoon featured an antique wooden bench seat, flowing muslin for an air of softness, Persian carpets for depth and decadent florals by Mondo Floral Designs, which created harmony throughout the space.

The garden party setting was created within a tipi that provided a cosy space in which to feature an abundance of greenery and an oversized lounge setting.

“We wanted to create an intimate reception setting perfect for feasting with friends. Texture was essential! We used rattan place mats and napkin rings, copper cutlery and hand-written name cards, floral vessels and lanterns. To complete the look, colourful share food was presented on vintage trays,” says Trudy Croad of Lovebird Weddings.

We just adore the inviting picnic area by the lake which was created with layered blankets, pillows and Moroccan poufs on the grass and a palette day bed. The area was made even more gorgeous with the addition of luscious florals and ferns.
