Q’nique wedding gowns are among our favourite designs not only because of their couture-quality finishing, beautiful fabrics and intricate hand sewn details, but for their ability to be completely unique to each bride. We spoke to designer, Geraldine Quinnell, to find out how this innovative collection works. ‘50% of the collection works on a mix n’match principle – A build-your-own-gown concept which works by the bride choosing which shape, colour and under-gowns she wants and adding a lace over dress in a style of her choice,’ explains Geraldine. Brides can add a variety of lace jackets and a choice of belts to individualise their gown completely. ‘The other 50% is comprised of gowns in either a vintage ‘gatsby reminiscent’ theme or retro 50’s inspired tea and full length gowns,’ says Geraldine. The latest collection features a range of different laces and silky satins, in a variety of colours plus Taffeta with lace over lay for the full gowns. ‘There is something for every bride, vintage, classical and contemporary looks are all included in the collection,’ says Geraldine.
Geraldine will be hosting an exclusive designer day THIS Saturday 31st August at Bridal By Aubrey Rose 376 Oxford Street, Mount Hawthorn, WA.
