Paula and Timothy met while in Germany on a working holiday. One Boxing Day, just two hours before they were to embark on a US holiday, Timothy asked Paula to open her gifts. One of them was a ring. The partners of seven years chose to celebrate their union with a weekend away in perfect, sunny Noosa.
“I love Sundays,” Paula smiles. “We decided to make a weekend of it, so we celebrated our engagement party on the Friday, had lunch on the Saturday and the wedding on Sunday.”
Karen Willis Holmes‘ Paddington (Brisbane) store, after seeing her designs in a number of bridal magazines. “Karen’s style is very old world and feminine, I loved her designs from the moment I saw them,” says Paula. She and her bridesmaids carried elegant bouquets of white peonies.

After the ceremony, guests dined on seafood and French champagne at Sails Restaurant. “Our guests said it was the best food they had ever tasted!” exclaims Paula.
