Reception Style with Doltone House

Modern Wedding Posted: December 19, 2014

With Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram we are often overwhelmed by amazing international images of luxurious wedding styling. Many brides wonder whether these show-stopping designs are achievable here in Sydney? The answer is yes! We visited Doltone House’s ‘Wedding Showcase’ to photograph a selection of their innovative wedding styling ideas … and they are truly spectacular! Featuring Doltone House preferred stylists and florists, these beautiful tables were photographed brilliantly by George Dragatsis at Photography & Cinema by Filmography.

Springtime brights with lashings of florals create a cacophony of colour on your reception tables. Alternatively, romantic pastels such as soft peaches, pinks and creams add an abundance of beauty, especially with tall overflowing centrepieces. Ceiling or hanging florals are a wonderful way to make a huge impact. These can be achieved using silk flowers rather than fresh, and can be organised the day before the wedding. Add some chandeliers (available for hire) and some beautiful chair and table accessories for a glamorous and enchanting atmosphere.

Tiffany chairs can be beautifully bare or dressed up with exquisite chair covers like these metallic gold lace designs with matching tablecloths – other linen options include embroideries, organzas, silks and paillettes. Charger plates such as these gorgeous gold ones can really add impact to your table. And of course you can never have too many tealight candles! So romantic!
