Zest Waterfront Venues is most definitely the place to treat your guests to an amazing celebration. Offering two absolute waterfront locations in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and North Shore, Zest Waterfront Venues focuses on creating unique experiences through cuisine, styling and personalised event design.
Accommodating weddings, both big and small, their Point Piper location seats 180 with dance floor while The Spit location seats 300 with a dance floor. Zest prides itself on tailoring a package especially for you, to create an experience like no other. Our favourite option is Zest’s renowned roving dinner concept where guests are treated to a 14 course degustation style meal, served in a relaxed cocktail party environment. Combined with food stations, these events are totally different and create a wonderful atmosphere.

Foodies will relish the opportunity to plan a personalised menu. “We’re lucky to have an amazing Executive Chef, Chris Dobbie, who’s been with Zest for over 10 years. Chris loves a challenge and is always open to new menu ideas and concepts,” says Laura.

Are drinks provided under a ‘standard beverage package’?
All of our packages include an unlimited sparkling, red, white, and beer package.
Are you able to source particular wines?
Our house wines have been chosen to complement our amazing food; however if you would like something more premium there are a number of options to upgrade.
Do you cater for lunch time weddings?
Yes we do, lunch weddings are absolutely gorgeous by the water!
How involved is each Event Manager?
Your Event Manager will work closely with you during all of the planning stages for your event, always available by phone or email. We hold a detailed pre-function meeting where we guide you through all of the finer details for your event, including tailored timing schedules and personally designed floor plan for your wedding. Your Event Manager will then hand over to our incredibly talented Operations Manager via an in-depth briefing, who will run your event with their team of highly trained staff.
Are there any advantages of getting married at a certain time of the year, month or week?
We offer reduced pricing during winter months. However with views like ours, there’s never a bad time of year to be married. The views are exquisite all year round.

What is the configuration of the room and is this flexible?
Point Piper: We offer two function spaces, both having gorgeous views over Rose Bay. The Larger is the Pacific Room which can accommodate up to 180 guests with dancefloor, or 320 cocktail style. The smaller room is our Commodores Room which can accommodate more intimate events of up to 80 seated with dancefloor, or 120 cocktail style.
The Spit: Very flexible! The Spit has been cleverly designed with two operable/moveable walls. Our smallest room configuration is perfectly intimate for weddings of 20-30 guests, with our largest configuration seating up to 300 guests with a dance floor! All with uninterrupted water views over middle harbour, and all with access to a private area of our covered balcony.

Point Piper:

- Boat access for group drop offs or bride and groom getaways
- Public bar area for guests to enjoy prior to your reception commencement
Is parking provided for guests?
Point Piper: We offer two carparks on site for guests, and plenty of free, untimed and unrestricted parking on Wunulla Road.
The Spit: We have two large council carparks at The Spit. Both are metered until 5.30pm and free thereafter. We also have ample all-day free street parking on our adjacent road.
Is the duration of the reception flexible or does it need to adhere to a set amount of hours?
Completely flexible. Our packages all vary by the number of hours you wish to book for, and you’re welcome to extend longer if you wish. We always want our weddings to end on a high note, so we give you the option to make a decision to extend on the night!
