Romance Sparks In The Hair Salon…
Brooke and Gareth’s love was always meant to be. For years, Gareth asked his friends to put in a good word for him with Brooke. Despite his best efforts, the couple stumbled upon each other in a twist of fate. One day, while Gareth was walking past Brooke’s hairdresser, he spotted someone. He proceeded to message the hairdresser, who was a mutual friend, to ask who the blonde woman in the chair was. As luck would have it, it was Brooke. That was the day he finally scored Brooke’s number and they had their perfect first date in Bondi not long after.

Blossoming Love…
After that first date, Brooke and Gareth’s love story started to write itself. Brooke reminisces on how they were inseparable after they first met. The couple always wanted to be together from that point on and were completely consumed with each other. “It didn’t take long for Gareth to tell me those 3 little words and of course I said them straight back,” shares Brooke.

Beach Side Proposal…
From the moment they met to when Gareth got down on one knee, this sweet couple have been wrapped up in a beautiful romance. On Boxing Day 2018, during a Christmas visit to North Queensland, Brooke and Gareth took a picturesque drive to Airlie Beach. It was at the beach that Brooke was surprised with a helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef that had been secretly organised by her beloved. When they landed on a secluded beach surrounded by a gorgeous champagne picnic, Gareth popped the question. “He got down on one knee and said some of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me”, says Brooke. Gareth had shared his plans with Brooke’s parents 8 weeks in advance and they were eagerly awaiting their arrival back at the airport after the romantic adventure.

Brooke shares that on the day of their crazy, romance-filled escapades, she was completely surprised! However as their day began to get more extravagant, Brooke started to suspect that the big question may be coming her way!

Now, let’s talk sparkle! “Gareth chose the ring himself. He got it made from a jeweller in Canada. It’s a light pink sapphire – my birthstone – with diamonds surrounding it” Brooke tells us. What an incredible ring!!

Brooke shares that their wedding plans are already well under way! “We have decided to have a destination wedding in one of our favourite places where we share so many amazing memories – Bali!” the bride-to-be gushes. The part of the wedding day that the happy couple are most looking forward to is getting to say “I do” while being surrounded by all of their loved ones.
