The collection represents the best of the designer’s aesthetic – a mix of classic bridal and modern simplicity.
While Toscano Bridal’s wedding dresses feature cheeky knee-high slits, cut-out backs and illusion necklines, they are balanced out with the traditional bells and whistles of tulle trains and elegant silhouettes.
“Inspired by the women who has her own sense of style, this collection celebrates our desire for romance, beauty and a freedom that comes from that,” says designer Diana Toscano.
A heavenly bridal fashion editorial
The editorial is suitably titled Heavenly Creatures. Set in a traditional church in Brisbane with white walls, high ceilings and flooded with natural light, the result is simply stunning.
Photographer Two People by Agi Davis has masterfully captured the wedding gowns in a soft, light and airy style. The bridal beauty look by Reichen Hodson from Hare’s Hair and Misha Makeup is equally angelic with a focus on loose curls and dewy skin.
The simple, paired-back styling by Renee Green Creative and hire from Avideas will transport you to a place of beauty, tranquillity and romance. Foliage and vases of varied roses, sea holly and baby’s breath surround a plush chaise lounge and Persian runner. The blooms are the handiwork of Kate Dawes Flower Design who has also created a bridal bouquet using deep purple and green hues.
