This wedding makes me smile, it is naturally beautiful and the happiness of the day transcends the beautiful photography.
Melissa and Ryan were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend, claiming that each of them had said flattering things about the other after viewing each others profiles on Facebook. Luckily the two hit it off and felt that they had known each other for years. Melissa told us that it was ‘a real instant connection!’
After Ryan had bought an engagement ring for Melissa, he was planning to keep it for a while until they were on a romantic getaway…. but he just couldn’t wait. Melissa told us how the proposal unfolded:
“As I got home from work, Ryan met me in the garage and blindfolded me. I was excited as I thought he had made dinner! He led me into the dining room where he played the song “I wanna grow old with you” from the Wedding Singer. Once the song had finished he asked me to take off the blindfold and there he was surrounded with candles, on one knee with the beautiful ring. He said ” I want to grow old with you, will you marry me”. Of course the answer was YES!”
