A little while ago, we began a project with the National Breast Caner Foundation to dedicate an entire edition of Modern Wedding to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. David Jones jumped on board and offered their top designers an opportunity to design a statement gown with a touch of pink. We were tickled… err… pink when big name designers decided to drop everything and get to work on their creations.

These gorgeous gowns have been on display in David Jones, Sydney throughout October.
The design and style of the gowns means that they are not only perfect for a one-off unique bridal gown, but also great for a special evening dress for an extra special occasion.
The beautiful gowns will go on Auction at 1pm tomorrow through Ebay, so keep an eye out and help the cause by making a bid. I certainly will be!

One in nine Aussie women will be told they have breast cancer! That is a jaw-dropping statistic, and research programs funded by the National Breast Cancer Foundation are key to a future without any breast cancer.
The campaign has gone so well so far, but there is still a little way to go. We are hoping that all our brides join us in the fight against breast cancer and bid for one these amazing gowns.
