Al fresco in the romantic Ravello, Suzannah and Cameron tied the knot atop a hill in the Italian city. Complete with lashings of lilac and limoncello.
Forever at first sight…
Cameron & Suzannah knew it was love almost straight away. “After about three weeks. We felt like we had known each other forever after our first meeting. We said the three words after three weeks as well!”, says Suzannah.
The Italian Way- Laid back, dreamy and fun vibes…
“I wanted it to be very laid back, dreamy and fun. I am not a formal person at all. Nor is Cam. We just like having fun. Because of that we knew it was going to be this ‘vibe’. From that I just knew it had to be Al Fresco dining.”
The couple wed and celebrated at Villa Eva in Ravello, choosing a lilac and yellow colour theme, complimenting the breathtaking colours of the Amalfi Coast and the famous Limoncello. To complete the day, they chose to mix in lots of greens and herbs including lavender, chamomile, rosemary.
Prosecco and Pizza…
The couple celebrated the night before the big day with a Prosecco and pizza party at a local restaurant overlooking the coast. “I slipped off around 10.30pm but I heard everyone was up until 2am dancing with the bar tenders” says Suzannah.
A lifetime pact…
In keeping with a childhood pact that they would all be each other’s bridesmaids, Suzannah had 6 long life friends and family as her bridesmaids, “I was going to have an army leading me up the aisle!”, whilst Cameron had 6 friends as his groomsmen.
In keeping with the dreamy, al fresco theme of the day each of Suzannah’s bridesmaids’ wore cream, lilac or grey dresses they each chose.
The Riviera Look…
Cameron’s groomsmen wore MJ Bale white shirts, chinos and blue suit jackets. Whilst the groom chose a dark, navy three piece suit, silver tie and Aquilla shoes and according to his bride “looked a dream!”.
A Timeless Beauty…
Inspired by JKF Junior’s wife on their wedding day, Suzannah was a timeless beauty in a Helen English gown. She shone in the Italian silk gown complete with a cowl back and front slit. “My dress and veil were made just for me. That to me was very special as I know no one else will have that”.
Wedding Blues…
Suzannah and Cameron have just bought their first home together and are in “full decoration mode to get ride of the post wedding blues!”. And plan to travel to Alaska and Canada in the coming years.
And Their Advice To Couples Planning Their Big Day..
“Wear comfy shoes!”
