A chic cocktail soiree in a relaxed, garden setting was the perfect embodiment of this stylish couple.
“We wanted a wedding that was formal, yet laid back,” explains Anna. “We decided on a black tie cocktail event and as it was held in my parents’ garden with our closest friends and family, we were able to personalise a lot of aspects and didn’t have to deal with time constraints.”
The bride was absolutely stunning in her embellished satin ballgown. “My gown was something that I never thought I would wear, but once I tried it on, I was in love,” she exclaims. Carrying a bouquet of peonies and lush green foliage, she and her beloved married in a meaningful church ceremony at St Boniface Cathedral in Bunbury.
Opulence Events created a magical garden ambience for the formal, outdoor reception. Personalised signage, masses of fresh blooms, lanterns and stylish furniture added to the atmosphere, helping direct guests to each attraction and adding to the relaxed, laid back vibe. “We had an old Caboose converted into our bar, festoon lights were strung from trees and lots of fresh flowers and beautiful furniture created a really unique space,” reveals the bride.
“We wanted the garden to be the highlight of our wedding,” recalls Anna. “Opulence Events brought all our ideas together and created a completely personal, beautiful space for us to celebrate our special day with all of our closest friends and family! The whole day was so memorable!”
