Summer…
Summer means making the most of the weather. This usually means outdoor weddings. While many automatically think of the beach when they hear summer wedding, there are plenty of beautiful outdoor locations to choose from. Garden weddings are very popular in summer. They take advantage of the excellent weather and blooming flowers. Destination weddings are also a way for you and your guests to score a holiday and attend a wedding at the same time. If you’re wedding is in the peak of summer, or your want your wedding to be somewhere particularly hot, consider a venue with both outdoor and indoor locations. A good option is adding a marquee to your outdoor venue to hold the reception.

Autumn…
While the change of season may not be so dramatic in Australia as in other parts of the world, autumn still calls for a warm colour palette and rustic vibes. These are best found in vineyards, farms and barns. These venues offer versatility, often having indoor and outdoor options, an essential with unpredictable weather. These venues allow for a lot of personalisation in terms of decorating. A lot of vineyards have the option of an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. This allows your ceremony to be in the prettiest parts of the venue and for your guests to stay warm as they celebrate through the night. Similarly, farms and barn houses may also have this option, as well as having options for controlling the heating in the venue in a way that still fits the theme.

Winter
Winter deters a lot of couples due to the cold and unpredictable weather. Why not embrace this and get married somewhere known for its winter charm? An indoor venue in a mountainous location can provide spectacular views while making sure guests stay warm. Whether its a cosy cabin or a fancy hotel, somewhere you can admire the landscape from beside a fire is the perfect place for a winter wedding celebration.
