This stunning styled wedding shoot is based on colour and the use of colour itself – all with a bohemian twist. Incorporating an ‘old meets new’ feeling, the renovated 19th-century chapel inspired a vintage take on bold and colourful weddings.
COLOURS OF SUMMER…
Incorporating summery jewel tones gave a bohemian influence over the colour choice. Mustards, coral, emerald, amethyst, and hints of pink were all included and showcased. The colour palette came together beautifully, showing you don’t need to be afraid of incorporating lots of colour into your own wedding. Be brave and think outside the box, not all great things (or colours) come in threes!
IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS…
The chosen colour palette flows into the crucial décor choices. A minimalistic canvas of plain chairs, tables, and venue can serve your colourful wedding theme well. Like a blank canvas, a white background can make your choice of colour pop even more. Vintage purple gauntlets gave the setting a regal atmosphere and tied into the colour palette nicely. The perfect way to bring bohemian styling into the colourful, modern world.
MID-CENTURY BOHEMIAN…
The mid-century details, combined with the bohemian theme, were key in shaping the mood and atmosphere. The furniture arrangements were a wonderful mix of vintage and renovated pieces that helped create the overall modern bohemian style of the shoot. Geometric tabletops contrasted against the vintage yellow armchairs and set the theme. From styling to hair and makeup, it all came together to move the traditional idea of bohemian into a new and colourful view.
CAREFREE, CURIOUS, AND COLOURFUL…
Lots of colourful wildflowers, roses, ranunculus, and foraged greenery bring in many colours to swoon over. This inspires the carefree bride who embraces colour and style.
