A wedding day is the celebration of the most important chapter of a couples lives, and will live forever in photographs that we show our families for years to come. Of course, a long lasting marriage is not defined by the aesthetic of a couple’s wedding day, but being able to look back and feel like your day is just as stylish now as it was at the time is something we all aspire to. There are countless tips and tricks that can be incorporated into any wedding theme for a touch of lasting style, but when it comes to a timeless theme there are few things more enduring than the classic ladylike look.
The talented stylists at Ruffles and Bells gather all things ladylike luxe for this shoot inspired by one of the most revered style icons of all time – Audrey Hepburn. All together the styling is unabashedly girly and opulent, but picked apart, each element makes the perfect dateless addition to any wedding.
The bride is styled in simple silhouettes of smooth flowing fabric and is adorned in layers of pearls and diamonds. Pearls also beautifully embellish the cake display that keeps to the luxurious theme with touches of Tiffany blue icing and Chanel ribbon wound around the crisp white cake. Lavish details such as crystal, silver and gold tableware are mixed with playful and girly stationery that adds a dash of fun throughout the shoot.
