What makes your venue special?
Being situated right on the water, guests are treated to panoramic views of the ocean. Orso has access to a large private deck so guests can enjoy drinks and canapés outdoors. Orso has floor to ceiling windows and a fabulous layout that allows everyone to enjoy the spectacular view.
What is the venue’s capacity?
Orso can accommodate up to 190 guests for a seated function and 250 for a cocktail, stand up style function.
What unique services does the venue offer?
We pride ourselves on offering a personalised service to suit each client. Each function is unique and the team is happy to work with clients to create their vision.
What kind of packages are available?
We provide all inclusive packages, with no hidden surprises! Our packages have been designed to be all encompassing, but packages can be customised to suit in terms of adding or removing elements.
What can couples expect a wedding menu at your venue to look like?
At Orso, our Head Chef has created a delicious modern Australian menu. Choices include duck, prawns, beef, lamb, chicken and gnocchi to name a few, all of which are made in house. Couples select two choices for each course which is served alternatively to guests, at no additional cost. We are also happy to cater to special dietary requirements at no additional cost.
Do you cater for lunch time weddings?
We love lunch weddings as we are able to showcase our spectacular views! On Sundays we have flexible lunch timings where couples can have a mid-afternoon function running into the evening.
Are there any advantages of getting married at a certain time of the year, month or week?
Winter weddings are increasingly popular as they tend to be dryer months and as couples like to honeymoon in the Northern Hemisphere’s summer!
What is the configuration of the room and is this flexible?
Our venue features vertical rectangular tables so that no one has their back’s to the view. The configuration is flexible and we are happy to consult with our Operations manager to ensure a particular configuration is possible.
Is parking provided for guests?
Metered parking is available adjacent to the venue at Spit East Reserve, as well as Spit West Reserve and on Parriwi Road.
