Where are the Grand Pacific Group venues?
The Grand Pacific Group houses a number of venues, specialising in contemporary and stylish events in historic buildings. These venues includes The Tea Room QVB in Sydney’s CBD, Gunners’ Barracks in Mosman, Dunbar House, Watsons Bay, Sergeants’ Mess in Chowder Bay and the Blue Room,Bondi.
What type of venues are they?
The Tea Room QVB is located in the original Grand Ballroom of Sydney’s landmark Queen Victoria Building. The Tea Room specialises in traditional morning tea and high tea service. The opulent venue is available for breakfasts, lunch, full day or evening hire and can cater for up to 200 people seated and 300 for a cocktail style function.
Gunners’ Barracks is housed in a former military barracks in Mosman and has been beautifully restored as a dining and events venue. Open 7 days for High Tea and Monday to Friday a la carte lunches, this is one of Sydney’s best hidden gems. Gunners’ Barracks is available for breakfast, lunch, full day or evening hire with both indoor and outdoor floor plans and can be configured for guests from 20 to 180. Maximum 130 seated and 180 cocktail including dance floor. The venue also offers two fabulous exclusive onsite ceremony locations
Sergeants’ Mess is located on the shores of Chowder Bay, Mosman and is a critically acclaimed purpose-built event venue. Transformed from a deserted army building, this venue caters to all events and hosts beautiful onsite ceremonies. The venue provides breathtaking Sydney Harbour views, elegant intricacies of design, extensive facilities and world-class dining. This venue will cater from 10 to 350 guests. Maximum 250 seated and 350 cocktail including dance floor.
Dunbar House is a truly enchanting setting for a wedding, offering beautiful views of Watsons Bay, local beaches and the city skyline. Dunbar House is committed to providing exemplary levels of food and service in this highly sought after location. The venue offers several beautiful spots for your big day, including the upper level Harbour terrace and main dining room. Ceremonies and photos can also take place on location in stunning outdoor areas such as Robertson Park under the iconic Morton Bay Fig tree and along the shores of Watsons Bay. Capacity for the venue is 110 seated and 120 for cocktail.
The Blue Room Bondi is situated within Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club, overlooking the beautiful and iconic Bondi beach. Having recently been given a modern reinvention, the style is now the perfect combination of relaxed beach side and luxurious elegance. Whether it is a sit down dinner overlooking the waves or a cocktail style reception, this venue can do it all! This is an event only space and can cater from 10 to 150 guests.

What spaces are available for weddings?
When hosting your reception with the Grand Pacific Group, you will have exclusive use and access to the venue. Events are limited each day to ensure a private and exclusive day.
Do they offer special wedding packages? What do they include?
Special wedding packages are offered at each venue and can be tailored to your wants and needs. Typically, an evening reception package will offer a 6 hour reception, 6 hours of beverages, canapés, a 3 course sit down menu, dance floor hire, microphone and lectern. A fantastic winter package is also available, which includes additional supplier inclusions. All packages vary slightly between each venue and have the ability to be tailored to your wedding dream.
Do these venues offer on-site accomodation?
Accommodation is not available on site but each venue has several great accommodation partners that can be recommended to you.
How do you get to the venues?
Each venue is accessible by car and public transport. Both Dunbar House and Sergeants’ Mess are accessible via Sydney Harbour. Onsite parking is available at Sergeants’ Mess and Gunners’ Barracks
