After a spectacular proposal, this couple wanted to make sure their wedding was everything they wanted. Blown away from the first time they walked in, Hassan and Zeina knew that Doltone House, Sylvania Waters was going to be the perfect venue for the wedding of their dreams.
A Surprise Lunch…
Romance is the way to any girl’s heart. Hassan had already won Zeina’s heart, but did it all over again with a surprise proposal. She thought they were just meant to be going for a swim but, Hassan had secretly organised a surprise proposal on the secluded Store Beach in Manly. “The next thing I see was a setup of a table and chairs, with rose petals in the sand with the words ‘Marry Me Zeina'”, reveals Zeina.
Belle of the Ball…
For Zeina, a detailed ballgown dress is a classic look for any bride. Her custom made Micheline Mokdassi dress was heavily beaded with 3D lace flowers. It included the “perfect amount of crystals and subtle pearls” that made the dress and Zeina sparkle all night long.
Sleek and Elegant…
Walking into Doltone House for the first time, Hassan and Zeina knew it was exactly the wedding venue they wanted. With beautiful settings both inside and outside, the couple had plenty of choice when it came to photo locations. Indoors, the black linen and chairs were contrasted with large gold centrepieces and vases, as well as gold charger plates on every table. This simple and elegant theme let the rest of the decorations truely shine.
Floral Pop of Colour…
In addition to the black and gold theme, each table featured a mix of deep pink, purple and pastel flowers with a hint of fresh greenery. The grand ceiling installation above the centre of the Doltone House dance floor added an extra pop of colour to the room, with the same vibrantly coloured flowers arranged around an elegant chandelier.
Make An Entrance…
The couple made a grand entrance into their Doltone House reception. Greeted by drummers and entertainment as they entered the room, it set a upbeat and vibrant atmosphere and excitement for the rest of the night to come.
Preparation Is Key…
Zeina was able to focus on making the most of her wedding day due to her thorough planning. She created spreadsheets keeping track of all suppliers, quotes and overall budget. One of the most difficult parts of her preparation was organising the seating arrangements. “Get that out of the way as soon as you can, especially if you’re expecting hundreds of people” she recommends. This allowed Zeina to stay calm and enjoy her celebrations.
Cherish Every Moment…
Zeina’s advice to future brides is to remember what your big day is all about. ” Take it all in and enjoy because the day flows by way too quickly”‘ she says. She suggests spending time with family and friends and relish in the celebration of love.
