This latest edition of Modern Wedding Cakes & Styling certainly appeals to our sweeter side and and just flicking through its colourful pages has us craving a little something, something! From beautiful cakes, to yummy cocktails, cookies, gourmet goodies, fresh food styling ideas and edible wedding favours, this magazine covers everything ‘food’ at your wedding.
We start with the basics of choosing a cake designer, a cake style to suit your wedding as well as a discussion of flavours and different icing options. Be inspired by the inspiration boards, cake toppers and styling accessories. Then move on to some DIY food options including yummy cocktails and five different edible wedding favours. You’ll find real weddings sprinkled throughout the pages to showcase how other couples have tied their wedding cake in with their entire wedding theme.
Perhaps our favourite part of this edition is the beautifully styled shoots which help you to see what each cake would look like in a proper wedding setting. We chose three wedding themes: The New Romantics, One of the Classics and A Pop of Colour, then asked some of our favourite cake designers to go nuts.
