Kick The Clutter…
It’s time to organise that wardrobe! This might mean getting rid of items that no longer fit or throwing out items that no longer bring you joy. AKA, time to Marie Kondo your life! If you are throwing out clothes, keep them aside and donate them to one of our favourite charities, Wayside Chapel.
Breathe In, Breathe Out…
There are so many apps out there to help you meditate. Calm and Headspace are some of our favourite ones! You can even use YouTube videos if you are looking for something super accessible. Spotify also has plenty of great playlists of meditation music that are sure to relax you.
Fun In The Sun…
It’s time to get some sun! Whether that is just lying out and getting some rays, reading a book or exercising in the backyard! The sun can do wonders for your mood and your health. But not TOO much!
It’s All Visual…
Make a vision board! During a time that may not feel too positive, it’s always possible to turn it around. Put together a vision board so that you can pick all of the wonderful things to come.
Bored Game…
Feeling bored? Same. Pull out a board game and start playing! We bet, just like us, there are so many games sitting in your cupboard not being used. This is the time! Get your family together and play some games. It is so fun and a great way to get everyone involved.
Binge O’Clock…
Watch your favourite TV show or movie. Netflix, Stan, and so many other platforms are great and have so many new things to watch and also the classics! Check out our top Netflix list here!
Doggo Time…
Play with your pet and give them lots of cuddles! You could even try teaching them a new trick. Some time with your fur baby is the perfect way to relax and feel the love.
MasterChef…
Plan and cook up new meals or recipes – there are plenty available through the SuperFastDiet program. Start out with a Veggie Frittata or a delicious Chicken Curry Noodle Soup!
Sweet Scents…
Light your favourite candle. They smell delicious and just always seem to add an essence of calm to any space in the home.
