Over the weekend, actress Priyanka Chopra and musician Nick Jonas tied the knot in a series of lavish wedding celebrations. Incorporating both of their cultural upbringings, this extravaganza is simply breathtaking! We have a breakdown of all of the fun, festivities and fashion.

The Opening Night…
Beginning the celebrations on Friday, the couple followed the Hindu traditions of marriage. A Mehendi ceremony was held with family and friends, a traditional pre-wedding celebration where the pair are adorned with henna. Following this, a traditional Sangeet took place where both families put together musical acts and choreographed dances.
A Royal Dream…
The couple wed in the first of two ceremonies with a traditional western celebration on Saturday. Taking place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, the couple said I do in front of 225 guests. The bride, along with the groom and bridal parties were all dressed in Ralph Lauren. Adding a sentimental touch to the ceremony, the marriage was officiated by Nick’s father Kevin.
Traditional Tones…
Wanting to celebrate with the traditional aspect of Priyanka’s background, the couple enjoyed a traditional Hindu ceremony on Sunday. The bride wore a stunning red embellished lehenga with the groom wearing a beige sherwani with a turban. Created by Indian designer Sabyasachi, the design featured organza flowers, layers of thread work and took 3,720 hours to create.
Radiant In Ralph Lauren…
After attending the 2017 Met Gala together as guests of Ralph Lauren, the designer was the obvious choice for Priyanka’s incredible gown. For the western ceremony, the bride wore a spectacular custom design. Adding an extra sentimental value, the designer also made an exception when designing the gown. Having only designed three wedding dresses in his career, all for family members, he created this beautiful look for her.
Delightful Details…
The gown featured floral motifs, lace appliqué and a stunning high-neck collar. Adorned with incredible detail, the gown took over 1,826 hours to create and contained over 2,000,000 mother of pearl sequins. Whilst the gown was simply breathtaking, the veil really stole the show! This 75 foot feature created the most beautiful fairytale moment. The look was completed with a classic Jimmy Choo shoe. Jonas’ full name, the wedding date and Priyanka’s parents name were all hand-stitched into the gown as well.
