What’s Hot In Wedding Colours This Season
Colour isn’t restricted to dresses and flowers on your big day. The ways to use colour are endless and there are so many palettes and trends this season to be excited about! Here are some of our favourite shades for this season, plus some stunning ways to incorporate them into your special celebration.
Pantone’s Ultra Violet
This gorgeous shade is the colour of the year! Pair this deep, blue based purple hue with fresh shades of green, ivory and a splash of blush pink for a fairytale affair. This shade looks stunning as part of a bouquet, as a ribbon wrap, in a flower crown or to set the tone of the day on your invites.
Bordeaux
If you are drawn towards a more moody palette, then this is the colour to inject into your wedding. Add a touch of burgundy into a pale pink, ivory and green colour scheme for a touch of elegance with a feminine and romantic touch.
Champagne
What would a wedding be without bubbles?! Keep your style simple and classic with a white, champagne and ivory scheme. These neutral colours allow you to be more adventurous with other aspects of your wedding, whilst still keeping it whimsical and soft.
Tangerine Sky
A bright tangerine theme screams summer romance and will make your day feel like a true paradise! Pair it with the colour of the year, ultra violet and up the ante with hot pink and marigold accents. If you don’t want too much colour, inject a few colourful buds around your venue to subtly compliment soft ivory features.
The New Classic
We are loving the addition of charcoal to a classic ivory, green and white colour palette for a rustic and bohemian twist on a timeless classic. For your blooms, add a touch of romance by incorporating pale pink or lilac flowers. This colour scheme is modern and new, but also screams sophistication.
