This active couple tied the knot in a garden party themed special day, complete with pastel colouring and a myriad of flowers.

Daniel & Ashley met one day at the gym, “I’m a personal trainer and Daniel approached me on the gym floor asking for help with an exercise… one thing lead to another and we went on our first date,” Ashley says.

On an romantic getaway a few years later, Daniel popped the question to his future Mrs, celebrating their engagement with snorkelling and a Hamilton Island sunset.

A RUSTIC FEEL…

The couple held their special day at Terrara Estate, complete with overflowing greenery, floral wreaths, bird cages and glowing candles hanging from the ceiling. In keeping with the rustic theme of the day, napkins were adorned with rosemary wreaths and each place setting was personally customised by the brides sister. A favourite element of the couples were the fairylights behind the bridal table, making the space feel warm and welcoming.

SLEEK AND SOPHISTICATED…

Sleek, sophisticated, simple and elegant were the prerequisites for Ashley’s dress and she couldn’t go past the beautiful detail and classic designs of Martina Liana at Fashions by Farina, to compliment the floral elements of their special day, “I wanted pastel colours with ivory and pastel green in our bouquets. I knew it would match the Champagne & Ivory in my dress”, she says.

Each of the bridesmaids wore simple, black dresses and the groom and his groomsmen, classic black suits to keep the sleek theme running throughout.

MARRIED LIFE…

The couple honeymooned in Vietnam, Singapore and Bali and hope to expand their family in the near future. “We will look at starting a family soon, family is very important to Daniel and I and we are looking at selling our house and buying a new house to upsize and make room for a larger family”.
